No one likes to be told what to do...

I added the brackets and changed the text to fit my thought that this concept applies to everyone. Quote from Elder Ballard:

"There seems to be something inside each of us that resists being told or pushed or pulled. But if someone puts an arm around [someone] and walks alongside [them], [they are] likely to follow along with a desire to serve."

Historically making someone do something hasn't worked too well. You see it in a company's operations everyday. This also applies to parenting to a certain degree.
